Manon Villeneuve

Manon Villeneuve is French Canadian and has a degree in Analytical Chemistry.  She moved to Raleigh, NC in 1993 and started working at a pharmaceutical company.  In 2015, the company closed all R&D activities, therefore Manon had to decide what to do next.  She always had a passion for baking and started baking batches and batches of cupcakes.  Just for fun, she posted pictures of her cupcakes on Facebook and her friends started asking her to bake for them.  This was the beginning of a new chapter.  Baking is chemistry, so why not! Manon’s kitchen was inspected by North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and is certified for home baking business.

Manon bakes homemade regular and gluten free cakes and cupcakes using a natural approach (no artificial flavor). Frosting is made with real butter, she never uses shortening. She uses fresh fruits, real maple syrup, high quality spices, sea salt and natural extract. No artificial sweeteners. She is known for her good ratio of cake/frosting, and customer requests are accepted for desired frosting amount.

Cupcakes d’Amour and other wedding vendors participated in a Tangles Styled Shoot and the photos have been published in “Wedding Colors and A Princess Inspired”!

Good news for nuts/peanuts allergies. Manon does not cross contaminate any nuts/peanuts with any flavors that do not have nuts. She makes everything separately and washes everything after each batch.
